About us
GoodCrowd.org – The Social Crowdfunding Platform
Solidarity is a mindset – and an action. So that no one is left alone in difficult moments.
We believe that solidarity, cohesion and social justice are the foundation of a good society. The future is based on solidarity – and we start today. That's why we offer GoodCrowd.org as a platform for active solidarity and social justice: 100% social – 0% profit. Become part of the movement – your solidarity has impact!
What We Do
GoodCrowd.org gives individuals, initiatives, activist groups and businesses the opportunity to collect donations for individuals – or for projects that make our world a bit more social and just. Whether medical costs, strike support or accessible renovations – people are our focus. We offer reach, networking and the power of the crowd. Our goal: No one should be left alone in difficult moments.

This Is Where Real Solidarity Comes Into Play
“After Thomas B. was taken from us so unexpectedly, I want to at least give his family the opportunity to avoid having to bear the financial burden of the funeral.”
“With this small donation, we want to encourage you further. You are not only fighting for yourselves, but for all patients!”
“Yesterday we received the devastating news that Rama A., a former student, was killed in a traffic accident. Every contribution is a valuable sign of solidarity.”
Who We Are
We are a team of more than 10 people working in Berlin to bring the platform to life: we take care of technology, platform development, campaign consulting and strong public relations. We answer questions from starters and supporters and prevent abuse.
GoodCrowd.org stands for solidarity, social justice and impact. It started in 2019 as betterplace.me. In 2024, it then developed into the independent Good Crowd GmbH. As part of the non-profit gut.org gAG, we work without profit interests. All income goes into the operation, further development and impact of the platform – not to investors.
What We Stand For
- Active Solidarity:
- Almost 3 out of 4 of our most successful campaigns were launched by relatives, friends, colleagues*, sports teammates*, and neighbours. This solidarity inspires us every day.
- Focus on Social Justice:
- Our campaigns reveal where social structures fail people – be it in terms of medical expenses, financial insecurity, violence, or structural marginalisation.
- Impact:
- We work in an impact-oriented way. How can we support more people, especially marginalised ones? How can we make campaign starters even more successful? How can we optimise our platform for greater impact? These are questions we ask ourselves in our daily work.
- Long-Term Change:
- We believe that the networking and media attention surrounding campaigns can also have an impact beyond crowdfunding and contribute to sustainable solutions: from long-term funds to self-help groups and petitions to social and political initiatives.
- Crowdfunding Know-How for Everyone:
- With over 15 years of fundraising experience, we support starters to make every campaign a success – regardless of marketing knowledge or reach.
- Clear Positioning:
- Campaigns that promote violence and discrimination or violate human rights have no place with us. Find out more about our values.
